Macbeth paragraph 5
Dramatic irony
Example:This castle hath a pleasant seat. The air
Nimbly and sweetly recommends itself
Unto our gentle senses.
Explanation: in Macbeth dramatic irony is when King Duncan arrives at Macbeths castle. This is a important scene because King Duncan doesn't know that he will be murdered by Macbeth, but the audience knows."This castle hath a pleasant seat." This is a quote that King Duncan arrives a the castle and he thinks that this is such a lovely place when it will be the place of his death. At this point the audience is very exited. This is because it links into blood and gore which everybody likes, and King Duncan doesn't even know that he is the sacrifice of Macbeth trying to be in power.
Intro: dramatic irony is when the audience knows something that the character doesn't.
Conclusion: this is why dramatic irony is awesome to grab the audience attention.
Hook: Unto our gentle senses.

Macbeth paragraph 4
Nature imagery
Example:Then comes my fit again.I had else been perfect,
Whole as the marble, founded as the rock,
As broad and general as the casing air.
But now I am cabined, cribbed, confined, bound in
To saucy doubts and fears.—But Banquo’s safe?
Explanation: some of nature imagery is death, animals and nature. When the murders say that fleance escaped "Most royal sir, Fleance is ’scaped." Macbeth freaks out because he knows that fleance is danger for him. "Macbeth says I had else been perfect, Whole as the marble, founded as the rock," which refers to him wanting them ( Banquo and fleance) dead. Nature imagery represent what he wanted fleance dead in juxtaposition to what actually happened, fleance escaped.
Thesis: nature is messed up in Macbeth because his life is going all wrong which leads to the theme power and corruption.
Intro: In Macbeth nature imagery is very common because of the scenes that are set are nature imagery.
Conclusion: this shows that nature imagery is a important aspect of Macbeth.
Hook: Then comes my fit again

Macbeth paragraph 3
I Supernatural
Example: The time has been that when the brains were out the man would die and there an end...
Explanation: this is because witches ( who are supernatural) got into Macbeth got into head which meant he is hallucinating so this means there is a lot of supernatural in the Macbeth. "The time has been that when the brains were out the man would die and there an end.." This quote shows that there is a ghost and Macbeth is going crazy. The ghost is the ghost of Banquo who is supposed to be the father of kings but Macbeth wanted him and his son, fleance to be dead.
Intro: Macbeth has lots of supernatural in it because of when the witches appear and him hallucinating like he
Hook:
Never shake
Thy gory locks at me.
Conclusion: there is un humanly things in Macbeth which means there is lots of supernatural.
Macbeth paragraph 2
Blood and gore
Example:Ase my good lord safe in a ditch he bides....with twenty trenching gashes on his head
Explanation:blood and gore is common in Macbeth because Macbeth wants to have power and anybody who is in his way to get what he wants is dead. " with twenty trenching gashes on his head" is said when Macbeth sends out murderer to kill Banquo and this is what they said. This is blood and gore because twenty gashes on his head says that he is killed and there is a lot of blood on him. But also when he kills every body he soul is corrupting which is the theme power and corruption.
Intro: in Macbeth lots of murder is happening which means that there is a lot of blood and gore.
Conclusion: blood is almost everywhere in Macbeth which means there is lots of blood and gore.
Hook:Ase my good lord safe in a ditch he bides...

Macbeth paragraph
(Theme) power and corruption
Hook: But how of Cawdor?
Intro: The theme of Macbeth is power and corruption.
Explanation:This is because the story is about Macbeth gaining the power that the witches told him but by this he is leading to his own corruption by getting greedy and by this he is going crazy. The witches are in his head by telling his future and that it happened."the thane of Cawdor is alive, and he’s a rich and powerful man. And for me to be the king is completely impossible, just as it’s impossible for me to be thane of Cawdor." He is panicking about the future that the witches are telling him, but he very likes it. When he becomes thane of Cawdor he is already thinking about the witches last word that he will be King, This is why he is corrupting which means that the theme is corruption.
Conclusion: When the Macbeth kills King and becomes king this when he gets power which means power so the theme must be power and corruption.

Banquo is a perfect Macbeth
Banquo is a perfect Macbeth. Banquo is a foil. A foil is a person how follows the same storyline as the protagonist but makes different decisions.
This is an example of how banquo had the same path but the witches didn't say anything to him. He also makes a different decision by asking for the witches to make a future telling thing got him to not only Macbeth. Banquo and Macbeth in the beginning of the story fights in the same battle, very well but the king only rewards Macbeth. Then when there was another war they both fought very well, but again only Macbeth got rewarded. Banquo also makes different decisions in the situation they get into . Overall Banquo is a perfect Macbeth because he is a foil and has the same situation.
| BANQUO
Good sir, why do you start and seem to fear.
Things that do sound so fair? (to the WITCHES) I' th' name of truth,
Are ye fantastical, or that indeed
Which outwardly ye show? My noble partner
You greet with present grace and great prediction
Of noble having and of royal hope,
That he seems rapt withal. To me you speak not.
If you can look into the seeds of time
And say which grain will grow and which will not,
Speak, then, to me, who neither beg nor fear
Your favors nor your hates

Should we give money
Example: UK homelessness charities are almost unanimous on the question of giving money: it is better not to. Some charities acknowledge the intended kindness, others are vociferous in saying don’t.
Explanation: giving money to homeless people can affect their live so it is a big question show we give money.UK homelessness charities are almost unanimous on the question of giving money: it is better not to. Some charities acknowledge the intended kindness, others are vociferous in saying don’t. This is because if you give them money some will use to buy drugs and alcohol which makes there situation even badder. You should give them food or drinks, though sometimes if you have a tiny bit of change you can give it to them. If you don't have anything don't just turn away and do as if they weren't there, turn to them and say sorry you don't have anything and treat them at a human level.
Hook: should I give money
Thesis: you shouldn't give money to homeless people, instead give them food or drinks
Intro: rough sleepers don't have money so it is good to know if you should give them money or something else. Another option is give money to the charities who know what to do.

Note:
-The number of homeless people are rising.
-Homelessness has increased for three consecutive years, partly because of housing shortages and cuts to benefits, with an estimated 185,000 people a year now affected in England,

-hidden homeless" households, such as those living in severely overcrowded conditions, squatters or "sofa-surfers".
-with rough sleeping rising this year by 6% in England and 13% in London. This pushes the two-year increase in the capital to over 60%.
-he research found there was a housing "pressure cooker", especially in London and the south-east, which was contributing to the increase in homelessness.

Hook: hidden homeless
Intro: there are lots of homeless people in England this means that there are more poor people who can't pay and the country doesn't make much money. Being homeless is a terrible thing but there is a huge amount of rough sleepers.
Thesis:The number of homeless people is rising.
Example: almost 1 in 10 people experience homeless , Hidden homeless are in overcrowded conditions, squatters or sofa surfers
Explanation: homeless people is a big problem in Britain. Homeless numbers are increasing in England there are many reasons for people how are on the streets. A one of the reason is family issues this is a big one, people could be upset about something and leave which could mean that they can't find a job or the house wages are to high and they can't afford to live somewhere so they become homeless. Almost 1 in 10 people experience homelessness. 1 int 50 people experience homeless for the last five years or more. Hidden homeless are people who have a little money and stay in a overcrowded place with bad conditions.
Conclusion: homeless people have very bad conditions we can help by supporting charities who can help the homeless people. If we help we could make a better life for these homeless people.

Homeless people
Intro: Winter is the the worst time to be homeless.
Do not give money.
Stone cold. The story link is a story about homeless people and how they survive. This story is about link who is the main character it is about how he gets there and what he does to find money. The story tells that link was a normal person with a normal family, but then there are family issues and he has to leave, this is common with most homeless people. This causes him to be homeless. After a while he moves up to London to seek for work but he fails so he's forced to live on the streets. When he meets this guy who helps him to know the ways on the street. They become friends and help each other when needed, but then the guy disappears and he is alone and scared like other homeless people would when there alone and don't have food. Link when he gets his money he doesn't uses it to buy drugs or alcohol like some people would, he buys food and drinks. This is how he survives on the street. He isn't the only one there is thousands of homeless people who get in the same situation, some are luckier, some aren't. So we could help by helping charities who help people like link.
Link was not forced to leave he chose to leave because he didn't like the guy who his mother married

Homelessness
Notes:
The breakdown of a relationship is the main reason why over two-fifths of men hit the street
It is domestic violence that pushes over a third of the women sleeping rough out of their homes
57% of rough sleepers in this study have mental-health issues, and the fact that most of them booze or do drugs too means that they are often treated effectively for neither condition.
16% of those with whom St Mungo's comes into contact have been diagnosed with schizophrenia, whereas among the general population the figure is 1%.
According to the Department of Communities and Local Government, the number of people officially accepted as homeless in the three months to June 2011—11,820 people—was 17% higher than in the same quarter of 2010. The latest figures from CHAIN, the Combined Homeless and Information Network managed by the charity Broadway, show that 2,069 people were seen sleeping rough in London between July and September, 216 more than in the three previous months and 520 more than in the same quarter a year earlier.
Callos is mean, rough and hard.
Compassionate means kindness, friendly, thinking about there problems and helping.
Plight means dangerous situation.
Patronizing means making someone feel below you.
Unanimous means everyone agrees.
Vociferous means expressing your feelings in a loud and forceful way.
Benign act means it doesn't do damage.
Augmented means to make somethings better.
Scours means to search and look around really well.

Ode to a large fish in the market
1 paragraph
Example: the earths green froth, the sea's truth, varnished black- pitched witnessIntro:The sea's truth. Ode to a large tuna in the market is a very powerful ode.The second verse paragraph is where Paplo Neruda, who wrote the poem uses lots of fantastic descriptive language. He uses powerful metaphors, imagery and similes. This is to make the poem intresting.
Thesis: Paplo Neruda repeats the mystery of the sea in the second paragraph to make the reader feel exited.
Explaination:The second verse paragraph is a very important verse paragraph in ode to a large tuna in the market. In the second verse paragraph the earth green froth is an implicit way to say in the marketamong the vegetables. It is also because it says "these lettuces" and "bunches of carrots" which are usually in the market. It also is repeats what the 1 verse paragraph says "among the market vegetables" which is we're the tuna is. Another strong metaphor is sea's truth this is a strong metaphor because it transfers the the quality of the knowing truth to the mystery of the sea. So this will grab the readers attention.
Conclusion:
The second paragraph is very important to describe the sea and the relationship between the sea and the tuna. It also gives a base to the paragraph and what it's going to be about.

Laundrette 5th stanza
This young wife has a fine stacks of sheets. Laundrette is a poem about who live in a poor part of the city that they have only one thing in common and that is the Laundrette which everybody uses publicly. The poem mood and tone depends on each other. The 5th stanza is a positive stanza compared to the other stanzas. It uses "present" which is a positive word because everyone likes presents. It also uses clean which is positive because if things are clean people like it so it is positive. The reason it is positive because it uses christening which is purification so there's nothing more positive than christening.

Poem ( symbolist )
To crave what the light does crave
to shelter, to flee
to gain desire of every splayed leaf
to calm cattle, to heat the mare
to coax dead flies back from slumber
to turn the gaze of each opened bud
to ripe the fruit to rot the fruit
and drive down under the earth
to lord gentle dust
to lend a glancing grace to llamas
to gather dampness from fields
and divide birds
and divide the ewes from slaughter
and raise the corn and bend the wheat
and drive tractors to ruin
burnish the fox, brother the hawk
shed the snake, bloom the weed
and drive all wind diurnal
to blanch the fire and clot the cloud
to husk, to harvest,
sheave and chaff
to choose the bird
and voice the bird
to sing us, veery, into darkness

raise the corn and bend the wheat

Snowboarder
Metaphor:
the snow was white puffy clouds.
The snowboarder was a polar bear wild free.
The trees were covered in a white blanket as if at any moment they would fall into a never ending slumber.
Simile :

The trees were as white as a a wooly sheep.
