Landlady questions

2. Foreshadowing is an advance sign or warning of what is to come in the future. The author of a mystery novel might use foreshadowing in the early chapter of his book to give readers an inkling of an impending murder.
Example: " left?" She said, arching her eyebrow." But my dear boy he never left. He's still here mr temple also here. They're on the third floor both of them together."
3. The dog sleeping at the fire inferred  that it is a cozy place. The inference is that the dog turned out to be dead.
4.it makes it like a murder act. And the landlady isn't nice and she is evil now.
5.the landlady has very good imagery. For example "But the air was deadly cold and the wind was a like a flat blade of ice on his cheeks." Another one is " Suddenly in a downstairs window a brilliantly illuminated by a street light not far away." I think this because you can almost see these descriptions in front of you. You also can imagine that you are Billy and feel and see the things that Billy would see and feel. So that is why I choose these to pieces of imagery from the landlady.
6.the landlady is a murderer who is loves to kill and stuff young men. She  also wants to murder billy and stuff him like Temple and Mulholland. I thin this because in the story she says "Left?” she said, arching her brows. “But my dear boy, he never left. He’s still here. Mr. Temple is also here. They’re on the fourth floor, both of them together.” I think this because in the book it said mr Mulholland was there for three years, so this meant that they must be kidnapped or something like that.
7.in the landlady the ending finishes to sudden. I think this because at first I didn't get what was going on and I think it would be better if the story would go a little bit more to get a hang on the story. This is why I think the ending is too short.
